Tashi Delek
Welcome at the website of Naga's Treasure.
Naga's Treasure means the treasure of the Nagas. Nagas are snake-like creatures which protect the wish fulfilling jewels of the Buddhas according to Tibetan Buddhism. We received the name Naga's Treasure from our root Lama Namkha Gyatso Rinpoche and therefore it is considered to be a blissful name.
Naga's Treasure was founded by Rigdzin and Lhakyi in March 2008. Our mission is to make Eastern and Tibetan products accessible to a wider public. It is our aim to make people happy, not only through the products we are selling, but also through personal contact and explanations about our products.
In March 2008 we initially started with wierook.org. (www.incenseshop.org) This is a website specialized in various types of incense from India, Tibet and Nepal. After a while we also started selling incense, jewelry and other small products at annual fairs in North Holland. Because of the success and positive feedback from our customers, we began expanding the business with these products at wierook.org. Meanwhile the four meters market stall is no longer sufficient to meet the demand and we have enlarged to two market stalls.
Since September 2008 we have also been importing meditation cushions. These cushions are sold to the retail market, in an attempt to reach out to our customers. The retail market and annual fairs are two different market branches. Purchasers in the retail market tend to be more critical of the product that they sell. In addition they provide more direct feedback.
We still think that wierook.org should continue to be a website specialized in incense of various shapes, such as: incense sticks, incense cones, incense powder, rope incense and so on. Therefore we decided to build a second store which can manifest itself internationally (nagastreasure.com). This shop will be supplied with a wide range of products including textile, statues, altar requisites, beads, jewelry, incense, singing bowls (or Himalayan bowls), small furniture and thangkas. In fact there are so many products, we can only mention a few here.
Visiting people with our products is one of Naga's Treasure core business concepts. In a small and quiet environment we can inform about the products we sell at the market stall. We notice that there are many questions about the different Buddhist Schools and various Buddhas.
We hope you will enjoy our products and service. In case you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us.
